"World Museum is the oldest of the museums and galleries operated by National Museums Liverpool. First opened on 8 March 1853 in the Ropeworks district of Liverpool, it moved to its present site on William Brown Street in 1860. Over the years, the museum has expanded to become one of the great museums of the British regions, with collections and displays of life sciences, earth sciences and human cultures from around the world."

"The World Museum in Liverpool is a free Museum five minutes walk from Liverpool Lime Street. There is a planetarium on the top floor which you need to book tickets for (worth doing when you arrive),  an aquarium, a masks display,  dinosaur exhibition, bug house and natural history centre to name a few. There is a picnic area on floor 4 and the Clore Natural History Centre is also a good place to while away some time."

"Seconds on foot from the futuristic architecture of Salford Quays is a splendid Tudor mansion, home to the Radclyffe family for 300 years. The surviving parts of Ordsall Hall are built on two ranges around a courtyard knot garden, the south dating to the 15th century, and the west range completed in 1639. These both incorporate older elements dating back 750 years."

"03/06/2021: After seeing so many off putting and negative reviews, I thought why not I’ll give it ago, anyway I went in and it was chaos, the staff and manger were rushed off their feet, it was a hot day also which didn’t help. This is the first time I have been out in months. And the service I received from the manager and staff were superb, Charlotte (manager) looked after everything aswell as her mum."
