15 of the best vegan menus delivered in Greater Manchester
"It started as a very niche Oldham St record shop with a vegan cafe on the b-side. Now four years since a move to Edge Street, V Rev has fully established itself as the go-to for your day-glo, towering vegan junk food fix. Think Almost Famous without the cows, or the bacon, or the cheese… Fun burger names like ‘Whopper Way To Make A Living’ and ‘Donut Have A Cow, Man’ give you an inkling of what’s involved, but they also do burritos, brunch and seitan chicken wings."

The 6 best vegan restaurants in Manchester
"Changing perceptions of what a vegan meal can be, V-Rev is an American-style diner that looks like it’s come right out of a 1950s teen film. The burgers drip all manner of tangy sauces over your fingers, the fries are loaded, the dogs are hot, the mac is (vegan) cheesy and the sandwiches are stacked with goodies. It’s dirty food, but not as you know it."

"An elaborate vine leaf design, reminiscent of Grimm’s fairy tale illustrations, leads the way up a stairwell to a narrow double doorway in the same red-violet hue that gives access to the café – a large attic filled with wooden tables and all the ambiance of a monastery refectory. The barrier between stranger and friend is often lost here, over delicious and affordable food."

The Best Vegan Restaurants Manchester Guide
"For something a bit more upscale and thought out yet still totally affordable on the vegan restaurants in Manchester list, Allotment Vegan Eatery (not to be confused with Allotment Bar in Northern Quarter, I made the mistake!) is excellent. Dishing out expertly prepared fully vegan dishes such as “fish” (it’s actually banana blossom!) & chips with crushed minted peas and homemade tartare sauce, rhubarb and ginger lentil stew, portobello mushroom steak and some sharing plates, it’s real nice and fancy and even more delicious. The ambience is nice and cosy too."

"Inside may be snug and cosy with hearty American-diner inspired food, but it’s the mural that graces the outside of the Koffee Pot that is just begging to be photographed. Be respectful, as this beautiful piece of street art is a memorial to the victims of the terrorist attack at the Ariana Grande concert, but it’s also a reminder of Manchester’s sense of community, demonstrated through the worker bee emblem. 10 Things to do in Liverpool with Kids
"Spaceport is described on their website as ‘taking an inspirational journey through space, as you walk through several themed galleries’, ‘which all feature a large variety of interactive hands-on exhibits’. The galleries and the exhibits are OK, but there is a a twenty five minute film played out on the domed ceiling of the theatre which is for me where Spaceport comes into its own. The film, about whether there is life anywhere else in the universe, had my kids, me, and the rest of the theatre were gripped."
