"I love the Art Gallery and have the Gallery a great place to visit with children and offers something a little different to enjoy with your children. The Gallery has several exhibits which are free for the public to enjoy. I love that the Gallery have tried to be really child friendly and for those with younger children, there is explorer tool belts for family groups with children aged three to six."

"Manchester Art Gallery is a public art museum on Mosley Street (near St Peter Square). It’s actually made of 3 buildings. The main one was built in 1823 after a design from Sir Charles Barry."

"This gallery is four floors and has a wide variety of art from the 20th century. There is also touring exhibitions from the mother ship on London’s Bankside. However, the gallery feels sparse but it is nice to go to wander the floors of art that is there"

"Big Art for Little Artists is a gallery for children within the Walker Art Gallery up to and including the age of eight. It has been designed to introduce children to art. It is open daily from 10am – 5pm and is just inside the main museum doors. It’s a great space to introduce the children to the art they can find in the museum and they even have fancy dress the kids can wear and then find the photos around the museum and take photos of themselves next to the art."

"as the name would suggest, our last suggestions may not ‘geographically’ qualify as Blackpool…… but its right on the boarder (basically, on Blackpool Airport..and has a Blackpool postcode….. which makes us wonder if they’re just being posh by putting ‘lytham’ in the name lol) and one which a lot of you will pass without knowing on your way into the town. Just off Squires Gate lane is located the Lytham Spitfire Centre. For a fiver (per adult – kids £3 ands under 10’s free!!) you can look around the centre and see some of the spitfire restoration going on plus….."

"Located at Blackpool Airport, and constructed for the RAF at the outbreak of World War II, Hangar 42 was home to various RAF and Polish Squadrons, operating night fighter cover for Preston and Merseyside Docklands. Today, it has been transformed into a visitors centre and retains many of its original features from when it was active. "04/05/2021: Hi guys, Karen here, just reviewing this restaurant, if you can even call it that, i wanted to try Nando’s because my kids have been saying i need to be cooler so i thought i would give it a go and go down with the kids, and god help the future generation of this is the food they like!. I went with my dearest friends from the launderette, wendy Janet and Susan, Susan left because she got the poos, and i was highly dissatisfied by the way we were treated, upon entering the restaurant, a dirty, shaggy haired youth greeted us with a small grunt, immediately we were put off, but we ventured forth into the poorly decorated and shabby restaurant. the food gave me the poos it so spicy and it burnt my cheeks off in the morning!"
