Although the church was almost completely rebuilt at the start of the 20th century it is highly regarded for its two historic chapels. "Lightoaks Park is a larger and popular park in Salford, officially opened in 1925. The park is maintained by a large and active group of volunteers – The Friends of Lightoaks Park.
