"This Indian eatery first opened in Leeds but has now expanded to become a chain of three, including one branch located in Manchester’s Piccadilly. Hidden down a set of stairs in a basement off an unassuming city centre street, this place might be hard to find, but it’s worth searching for. Most dishes are vegan, including the newly launched for 2020 vada pav burger, which consists of a deep-fried mashed potato ball, red and green chutneys and deep-fried (spicy) green chilli, all in a vegan-friendly bun."

With a proper fast-food feel, despite being able to eat in at their Piccadilly location, each time those lovely little pots are plonked in front of you is just as exciting at the last. The tarka dhal is to die for, their food has a real grab-and-go feel to it and it's very reasonably priced considering the amount of flavour you get out of each dish."

"24/05/2021: I recently visited Old Hall Farm during the current restrictions, allowing outside dining. The outside area is large with plenty of room between the tables. All the tables were recently renovated and the whole area was clean and very inviting."
